Annabella Nassetti, senior interior designer and Global Chair of the G100 Design and Lifestyle, announces the first global Award to support young female designers.
The G100 Design & Lifestyle is a Chapter of the global G100 movement. The latter is a non-profit global organization founded by Dr. Harbeen Arora. It’s a group of 100 Global Women Leaders, a Think Tank of Visionary Women, guided by 100 Global Chairs. It is impacting Millions.
G100 is an eminent club of top 100 powerful women who are leaders in their own field and have a vision for the future. It comprises a league of luminaries of eminence and excellence including Nobel Laureates, former Heads of States, Ministers, Businesswomen, Corporate and Community Leaders – all joined in a pact of purpose to create massive opportunities for women worldwide.
The organisation inspired Annabella Nassetti and Fiorenza Mella to launch their first Award program to honor the most innovative design project created by a young designer. The contest is open to students and graduates in Design, Product Design, Interior Design, Architecture, and Engineering.
Along with celebrating product design innovation the goal is to help support young talents by creating real business opportunities.
Annabella Nassetti said: “I’m thrilled to be inspired by this global organization and to have the chance to use my creativity in a different way. Together with Fiorenza Mella, I created AssiaX, an initiative that will oversee the development of the winning design from concept to production including royalties compensation. The destination will be eighteen 260mᶟ foyers at one of Milan’s top Eco-conscious 700 units 66,000m2 residential development.” She concluded: “In this particular case, for example, we initially sought a real application and then we made arrangements for manufacturing and installing the winning design. The Award will provide the unique opportunity to be part of a limited edition Collection to be produced by Nemo Lighting, one of the world’s leading companies in the field of lighting design.”

This debuting Award will challenge the participants in thinking of a real product. It will be sponsored by Arborea Living, a community project based in Monza, on the outskirts of Milan, which will see over 1200 people come together in a sustainable living initiative that aims to promote unity between the built environment and nature, and provide services enhancing quality of life for families regardless of income. The core features of the project will be the provision of 700 family flats over a 66,000m2 space, incorporating a range of services – including city shuttle, car charging, concierge and package storage – whilst ensuring absolute congruence and harmony with the natural environment around.
The winning product will be showcased at the 2022 MILAN DESIGN WEEK (6-12 June). A panel of independent industry experts will evaluate all nominations on basis of relevant criteria such as eco-conscious design, light perforation effect, technical excellence and cost-effectiveness.

About Annabella Nassetti
Annabella Nassetti, Global Chair of the G100 Design and Lifestyle, is a 20 year-experienced interior architect and product designer, who has also excelled in designing solutions for many exclusive properties in London. Annabella is the only UK interior designer able to offer an in-house construction service.
