Interior Design
We have a clear philosophy of design – the optimum use of space combined with a sophisticated use of materials and a strong visual sense that means we are constantly pushing our creative boundaries. This is the “A Living Concept’, a vision for the ultimate interior that is ingenious and innovative but doesn’t interfere with core ideas of comfort, beauty and functionality.
Brought up and educated in Milan, the Creative Director Annabella Nassetti came to the UK in 1997 to study at the Inchbald School of Design. It marked a new way of thinking for someone who had already gained a degree in product design—a chance to “zoom out” from very detailed thinking about single objects, to the consideration of complete spaces. She has since managed to combine these two disciplines perfectly, with an obsession with the way that things work, and the limits of their design, plus a flair for manipulating architectural interiors.
“For me, space is the most important raw material, whether designing a client’s home or an investment property, an intuitive understanding of how people live is what sets good design apart. In accordance with this philosophy, our trademark is an exceptional ability to manipulate and maximise available space, with architectural detailing that guarantees a harmonious and perfectly balanced environment.”
Our approach is to be innovative and exciting yet practical, fulfilling (and surpassing) clients’ aspirations with imagination and a personal touch. The ‘Living Concept’ we advocate is one that is designed with functionality in mind – maximising available space and creating rooms that simply work and flow in the best possible way. This may include bespoke details at every level, including kitchens, built-in joinery and free-standing furniture; We collaborates with Italian furniture makers to ensure that our designs are executed to the highest standards.
