Lowndes Square

Lowndes Square

The client had seen a previous project of mine and simply couldn’t resist getting his London property refurbished. Our intuition was that he was looking for something even more luxurious so that is what we focused on. Every little detail had to be exceptionally thought through and particularly beautiful. The Client wanted this property to be the representation of his success. He didn’t want anything standard or average in this property. We proposed to deliver this brief by specifying all the walls and ceilings to be finished in ‘Stucco Veneziano’. This gives great luminosity and it enhances the architectural detailing within the scheme. An oversize selection of polished marble slabs worked very well with the special wall finishes and the orientation of the marble pattern was aligned with the hallway walls. This was a winning design feature. A Bulthaup kitchen is what was designed for this property and a special back-lit wine storage unit was designed. The clear transparency of the fireproof glazed doors provided for the continuation of the open plan layout. A combination of Donghia and Minotti furniture is what can be seen in these photos. The motorised curtain tracks would allow for the curtains to expose the numerous windows facing this Belgravia garden Square. The elegance of the pleated curtains gives a unique warmth to this open plan room. The marble cladded bathrooms had bespoke solid American oak vanity units and mirror cabinets. In this project we have a fantastic open plan layout with the best use of space and flow within the room.
